Notes on Administrator Actions

This section explains precautions for handling shared passwords that arise due to reasons such as resignation or leave of absence of users within an organization in relation to OfficeNEXT Safebox.

  • The OfficeNEXT Safebox service receives their usage rights from OfficeNEXT subscribers and manages the rights in OfficeNEXT Safebox independently from OfficeNEXT.

  • If an OfficeNEXT Safebox user loses the master password, they cannot recover it on their own. Therefore, to resolve this issue, the administrator has to help its user reset his/her previous password and use the new password to be entered by using the recovery key (PEM) gotten when you make the master password in the identity verification process. This process is as follows:

    • If you forgot a password → Click "Find Master Password" on the OfficeNext login screen. → And then you should request your password recovery to your company's OfficeNEXT safebox administrator. → The administrator clicks "Reset Master Password" on the detailed view screen of the user in the Safebox administrator console to send the user an OTP via email. → The user enters the OTP code received by email into the OTP field on the 'Master Password Recovery' screen. → In the PEM input field below, find the recovery key received when signing up for Safebox and upload it. After completing this process, a screen will appear where you can enter a new master password and create a new password.

  • A detailed explanation of the above process can be found at the link below.
