Check sharing permissions
Viewing Shared Record Permissions
Users who have shared records with organization members can check the permissions of the shared recipients by opening the detailed view of the shared record. Only the person who shared the record can view the permission details. Let's explore how to check the sharing permissions for records that have been shared with other users and groups.
Click on the record you shared to open the detailed view screen.

Click the "Share(
)" icon located at the top of the detailed view screen.

You can check sharing permissions in the list of sharers below.

A list of the current record's shared users will appear, showing the user names and email addresses along with the sharing permissions for each user or group.
To change sharing permissions, click on that section to modify the permissions.

There are three available options: 'View Only', 'Can Edit', and 'Access expiration'.
How to specify an expiration date in sharing records
Setting the access expiration period option allows you to specify an expiration date for the shared record access. When you select "Access expiration" from the sharing permissions, a dialog box will appear where you can set the sharing duration.

If you click on the checkbox in the popup, you will see the default expiration period. You can select the desired period here, or you can customize it to your own needs.

When you select the "Custom date and time", a pop-up will appear where you can select a date and time, and you can use the calendar and time input fields to specify the desired period. When you click 'Ok', the expiration period will be assigned to the user or group.

The expiration date is displayed under the name of the group or user that has an expiration date, so you can easily distinguish them.
